Job Description
THIS IS A W2 12+ MO CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY ONSITE IN FREEPORT, TX M-F RATE $29/HR FIRM the Supplier Billing Technician facilitates and expedites the Freeport vendor payment process from invoice to payment receipt, primarily focusing on the labor recharging (CATS) and Service Entry Sheets (SES) process in SAP and AES. The employee has the central responsibility for process success, working across many site roles and functions to troubleshoot payment errors/delays, identify corrections, and communicate status and/or action needed to stakeholders. Responsibilities Technician is responsible for multiple suppliers, ensuring billing and error corrections are current and resolving any issues causing delays. Analyzes AES32/SES/ CATS data and identifies discrepancies. Determines and defines course of action to correct AES/SES/CATS issues Notifies Contract Administrator when supplier billing is delayed and works with Contract Admin and supplier to facilitate catch-up (issues with Plant Maintenance Orders (PMOs), Purchase Orders (POs), incorrect invoice, time allocation delays, etc.) Facilitates supplier training on process and error handling. Modifies supplier training and process to fit the skillsets/needs of the supplier timekeeping staff. Troubleshoots and corrects all supplier billing errors caused by the organization Analyzes and corrects pending payments from supplier Aging reports, working with Sourcing. Runs data extracts to assist supplier payment reconciliation Facilitate system rejections in AES/SAP by working between the plant rep and the vendor for a resolution. Recognizes and communicates when role responsibilities are not being met. Required Qualifications A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years of related experience.
