Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst Job Description The Supply Chain Analyst serves as a critical data-driven professional responsible for optimizing inventory management across a large, complex fulfillment network. This role combines strong analytical expertise with deep supply chain knowledge to monitor, analyze, and forecast inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock positioning while minimizing missed sales. The analyst uses advanced data analysis tools to identify trends, predict demand patterns, and develop actionable insights that drive inventory planning decisions across multiple product categories and geographic regions. Working closely with cross-functional teams including 3PL providers, procurement, operations, finance, and accounting, this role supports operational efficiency, profitability, and a strong customer promise of product availability through strategic inventory optimization and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities Analyze inventory levels, demand patterns, and overall supply chain performance to identify targets for improving transactional and operational efficiencies. Monitor and optimize inventory stock levels and cycle counts to support accurate and timely fulfillment. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues between physical counts and system records. Create clear, accurate reports and dashboards to track inventory metrics and key performance indicators. Collaborate closely with metering centers, third-party logistics providers, vendors, and internal supply chain teams to maintain inventory accuracy and flow. Analyze data to improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Support inventory planning and procurement decisions with data-driven recommendations. Perform weekly cycle counts, including weekly onsite reviews of inventory. Investigate the root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions. Implement process improvements to enhance inventory management and reduce errors. Monitor and execute daily transactions in warehouse management and ERP systems to support operational success and efficiency. Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion within the inventory and broader operations teams. Assist with JIRA ticket resolution related to inventory, systems, and process issues. Manage discrepancies within ERP and WMS systems and reconcile differences with physical inventory quantities and counts. Monitor dashboards and inventory variances that could impact on-time shipment and fulfillment performance. Essential Skills 2–4 years of experience in supply chain or a closely related field. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations. Experience working with inventory-focused Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Working knowledge of Oracle ERP systems for inventory and logistics management. Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations, including inventory control and fulfillment processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Strong work ethic with a desire to learn, be challenged, and grow within a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing operational and inventory data. Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau to build and interpret dashboards. Experience managing logistics and inventory within a warehouse or fulfillment environment. Ability to monitor and interpret dashboards related to cycle counting, inventory variances, and shipment risk. Comfort working with JIRA or similar ticketing systems to track and resolve issues. Experience collaborating with finance and accounting teams, particularly where there is financial impact related to inventory and supply chain performance. Ability to contribute to the development and improvement of technology and processes within a robotics-driven supply chain environment.
