Opportunity: Physician - Surgery - General Job Details: Provide general surgery call coverage from 7/15-7/30/26 24-hour beeper call coverage for the entire duration of assignment Handle 4-5 patient encounters per shift Must hold active Alaska medical license and Alaska DEA prior to start date Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications General surgery skills required including laparoscopic procedures Laparoscopic hernioplasty experience required Obstetric and gynecologic surgery experience preferred, including cesarean sections Trauma Level 4 facility with no pediatric designation Hospital apartment accommodation available within 2 minutes walking distance Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days No overtime applications or guaranteed hours - all 24-hour call coverage Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
