Job Roles and Responsibilities Perform thorough patient evaluations, including assessing vital signs and evaluating medical histories Interpret imaging and lab results to aid in diagnosing surgical conditions Work alongside surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment plans Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing the surgical environment and managing instrumentation Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative patient care, encompassing medication distribution, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Preferably, completion of clinical rotations focused on surgery Certifications Valid and unrestricted PA-C
