Marshfield Clinic – Archive is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Surgical Technologist to join the Healthcare & Medical Services team at Marshfield Children’s, a Wisconsin-based pediatric care provider within a large, integrated health system. In this role, you will support pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for children and their families across central and northern Wisconsin. You will prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment according to pediatric surgical case needs, verify functionality and safety of all equipment, and maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection-control standards. During procedures, you will function as a key member of the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies, anticipating surgeon needs, managing specimens, counting sponges, needles, and instruments, and helping to maintain an accurate sterile field. You will participate in room turnover and case preparation, assist with positioning and draping pediatric patients, and collaborate closely with nurses and anesthesia personnel to promote patient comfort and safety.
