DUTIES Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures Provide CADD drafting and design support for engineer, or other staff, for typical civil engineering projects Perform work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions and notes Work under the direction of the Practice Leader, engineer or Senior CADD Technician May provide quantity estimates or other measurements from CADD files to engineer, or other staff, for cost estimate purposes Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, meeting standards, fits and stack-ups Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings / specifications Use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines Works under general direction, receiving project guidance from an engineer Compiles and interprets various types of data to s
