Company Description KPFF Consulting Engineers provides structural and civil engineering services to architects, government agencies, developers, and contractors for projects with a wide range of functions. KPFF's civil engineering staff accomplishes projects for site development, parks, and recreation facilities and the improvements to existing city streets, urban arterials, and highways. Scope of services may include site planning, environmental analysis, storm drainage studies, wetlands enhancement, permit coordination, and design of site grading, drainage, storm detention, utilities, access roads, parking facilities, and public street improvements. In addition to typical site development engineering, our civil group serves as a prime consultant to government clients for management and design of transportation, waterfront, site improvements, and major utility projects. Our engineers work in dynamic teams with open communication and strong support from senior-level mentors. These teams work directly with our clients on some of the most challenging projects in the region. Job Description Dynamic and friendly Survey and Civil Engineering office needs a Chainperson. Established in Los Angeles in 1968, KPFF Consulting Engineers supports the most exciting projects that define the region, and reshape numerous neighborhoods and communities, from the beaches on the Westside to the deserts in the East. KPFF’s surveying team provides land surveying and mapping for projects of all sizes throughout Southern California. Our scope includes construction staking, ALTA land title surveys, boundary, topographic and aerial surveys, Condominium Plans, Vertical Airspace Maps, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, legal descriptions and laser scanning services. Our team provides high quality surveying solutions to engineers, developers, architects, contractors, individuals, title companies, mortgage companies and public agencies. Proficiently help perform data collection for survey field work. As part of a field survey crew, help complete boundary, topographic, ALTA, right of way, construction staking, and subdivision projects. Qualifications Qualifications You thrive in a fast-paced environment working in multidisciplinary teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in the field utilizing fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of surveying to make precise survey measurements of potentially large tracts of land operating surveying instruments Carry surveying instruments to, from, and in the field Establish and maintain friendly, business-like relations with those contacted in the course of work Ability to utilize sound judgment, independent decision making, and prolonged focus to complete surveying tasks Additional Information Why KPFF?
