Job Description
The successful candidate prepares subdivision plats, boundary plats, easement plats, and related survey documents to support land development projects. This role directly supports the Engineering Team by drafting and processing plats associated with land development applications. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Prepare subdivision plats, boundary plats, record plats, and easement exhibits Draft survey documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D If required, revises plats based on jurisdictional review comments Research deeds, title reports, and existing survey records Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field crews to confirm survey data Ensure documents meet local, state, and recordation requirements Maintain organized project files and documentation Qualifications 4-5+ years of experience in survey drafting or plat preparation Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Understanding of subdivision regulations and local review processes Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and title documents Strong attention to detail and accuracy Clear communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
