Survey Project Manager: McClure is currently searching for a Land Survey Project Manager (PM) on our growing Survey team in Council Bluffs, IA. The PM will be the primary point on a variety of survey projects both within the organization, and for external clients. A successful PM will demonstrate past success in the office side of land survey and land survey project management; a great work ethic; and strong team player, leadership, and mentoring skills for assisting less experienced survey team members. This is primarily an office role, although field work may be required for mentoring, assisting, and successful project completion. The Survey Project Manager is a skilled professional who is responsible for guiding their respective teammates as a productive and cohesive unit that contributes to the success of the project and profitability of the company. The Project Manager is the primary face of the project and is responsible for coordination with clients and internal staff throughout the project’s term and must strive to represent the team and the firm well. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A Survey PM must possess the technical skills required to assist in the preparation of effective survey solutions to meet the client’s needs. A PM must also possess the interpersonal skills needed to appropriately communicate with clients and successfully lead and mentor teammates. The PM should be capable of learning the following: Ability to build trust, delegate work, and guide their teammates to the successful completion of multiple concurrent projects. Ability to monitor client satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships. A strong understanding of the team’s technical surveying expertise. Ability to oversee the team’s QA/QC process to ensure high quality deliverables and risk mitigation. Ability to articulate clients’ goals and objectiv
