Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and artistry Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in all kitchen areas Source fresh ingredients daily and ensure proper storage to preserve quality Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service hours Innovate new sushi rolls and menu items that excite our guests while respecting traditional techniques Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs proactively Uphold company standards for presentation, taste, and consistency in every dish served Qualifications Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sushi techniques, and ingredient handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various fish and seafood preparations Experience working with fresh ingredients and understanding food safety regulations University experience or related educational background in culinary arts is a plus Passion for continuous learning and staying current with culinary trends Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through your expertise and enthusiasm!
