Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation in all work areas Develop new sushi recipes and presentation techniques to keep menus fresh and exciting Manage ingredient inventory, order supplies, and ensure freshness of all seafood and accompaniments Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Educate team members on sushi preparation techniques and culinary best practices Uphold consistent quality standards while adhering to health regulations and safety protocols Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within Japanese cuisine or fine dining establishments Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, knife skills, and presentation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and presentation excellence Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Passion for culinary arts, especially sushi making, with a desire to innovate and improve skills Join us if you’re eager to craft exceptional sushi that leaves a lasting impression!
