Duties Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and standards Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station and kitchen area Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service Assist with catering orders and special events as needed Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, presentation standards, sushi-rolling techniques Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in sushi preparation Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues Understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Skills: Kitchen experience Catering experience Culinary skills Restaurant experience Food handling knowledge Experience in dietary department (preferred) Food service experience Food preparation skills Knowledge of food safety regulations Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid sick time Shift: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Experience: AYCE Sushi: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
