Job Description
Sustainment / Pre-Production Lead Logistics Specialist (FDPMU/CDML) Are you a logistics specialist experienced in maintaining deployable medical and preventive medicine platforms? Do you bring attention to detail and leadership skills needed to sustain highly specialized medical configurations? If so, this position supports critical Navy medical readiness missions. In this role, you will oversee sustainment and pre-production activities for FDPMU and CDML platforms. You will ensure material availability, accuracy of allowances, replacement of expired items, and compliance with established stowage plans. You will lead assigned personnel and maintain platform readiness in support of operational requirements. In This Role You Will: Lead sustainment and pre-production activities for assigned platforms. Ensure allowances are complete and properly stowed. Replace expired material and remove excess items. Maintain platform readiness in DMLSS. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have: High School Diploma or GED. Experience leading sustainment or pre-production operations. Knowledge of platform-based stowage. Minimum three (3) years of project or logistics management experience related to the position description listed above. Minimum five (5) years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations related to the position description listed above. Experience supporting inventory, shelf-life, disposal, and sustainment operations related to the position description listed above. Proficiency with MS Office applications and warehouse management systems. U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet Government suitability requirements. A current and active NACI and PIV Credentials which will require US Citizenship, and Active and Current Secret Security Clearance is preferred. Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain within 30 days. Valid driver's license and ability to operate approved delivery vehicles. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation. A current OSHA certification or willing to obtain. Successful background checks include fingerprint checks and drug screenings. Have the ability to work on-site daily Monday through Friday while meeting our customers' requirements at the Cheatham Annex, located near Williamsburg, Virginia Preferred Qualifications Platform-specific experience (ERSS/ERCS, FDPMU/CDML, or EMU/EMF). Experience using DMLSS Assembly Management. Valid forklift license (4K-6K and stand-up forklifts) or ability to obtain. Military Veterans and Spouses are encouraged to apply!
