Our client, an investment firm, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Data Engineering to join their team in Los Angeles, CA! Responsibilities: Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities. Roll out a data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture. Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's principal information assets. Design a data engineering roadmap and execute the vision behind it. Oversee the movement of large amounts of data into our data lake. Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with firm's business objectives, delivering measurable ROI. Lead the vision, development, and delivery of scalable, reusable, and trusted data products to meet cross-functional needs. Partner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions enable decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term value.
