Job Overview-Swimming lessons at home We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Swimming Instructor to inspire confidence and skill in swimmers of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities Deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Teach water safety principles and emergency response techniques to ensure participant safety at all times Develop customized training plans that promote skill progression and confidence in the water Monitor participants’ performance, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate progress to motivate continued improvement Maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing pool rules, conducting regular safety checks, and managing behavior effectively Assist with organizing aquatic activities such as swim competitions, water aerobics, or team sports like basketball or cheerleading when appropriate Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility and uphold health club standards Skills Proven experience as a lifeguard or swimming instructor with strong water safety knowledge Background in sports coaching, teaching, or physical education, with a focus on aquatic activities or martial arts such as Karate, Judo, or Climbing Excellent communication skills suited for working with children and students of diverse ages and backgrounds Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment Knowledge of various sports including basketball, cheerleading, or gymnastics is a plus for integrated activity planning Experience working in health clubs or gyms is advantageous for understanding fitness principles and facility operations Demonstrated ability to teach physical skills such as swimming, martial arts, or climbing with patience and enthusiasm Join us as a Swimming Instructor and become part of a vibrant team dedicated to promoting health, safety, and enjoyment through aquatic education.
