Job#: 3028627 Job Description: Syrup Blender Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-site) Employment Type: Contract Shift: M-F 9:30pm-6:00am (3rd shift) Role Overview A manufacturing client is seeking a Syrup Blender for a 3-month contract. The role involves preparing syrup batches according to specific recipes to ensure a consistent supply to production lines. This position requires an independent worker with strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Prepare syrup batches by following established batch and formula recipes. Physically weigh ingredients and make proper connections for liquid transfer, including treated water and HFCS. Utilize mechanical metering systems for adding batch ingredients. Complete product tests and troubleshoot formulation errors. Clean and sanitize all batching equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Maintain a constant flow of syrup to all production lines. Communicate operating information and concerns to personnel on other shifts and departments. Participate in team meetings to evaluate and investigate process improvement opportunities. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Required Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience mixing in a beverage or food manufacturing facility is required. Candidates must have experience following a recipe or formula. Experience in a lab setting is preferred. Skills: Ability to work as an independent worker with effective time management. Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects at the same time. Able to read and write English and perform simple mathematical operations. Possesses decision-making and analytical abilities. Physical ability to lift and manage bulk containers of ingredients weighing up to 55 lbs. Able to bend and stoop to make line connections. Availability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $16.00 and $23 per hour.
