THE WORK Duties include, but are not limited to, being responsible for assisting in defining, developing, configuring, and supporting computer applications and training environments. This role involves installing, setting up, and monitoring training computer networks, including the integration of virtualization technologies to enhance training capabilities. Perform maintenance, evaluation, and installation tasks to ensure the computer network adheres to system requirements. Investigate problem reports, identify sources of issues, and implement provided solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining personal computers, networks, workstations, file servers, fiber optics, network cabling, and other related equipment and systems. This includes managing virtual environments and upgrading software applications to optimize operational efficiency. Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties. Maintain host security, including firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery, file system integrity, and add and delete users. Perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. Basic Qualifications: Current Secret Security clearance. Systems Administration Experience with activities in Windows Server 2019, Windows 10 administration, domain services, networking, antivirus, and application control. Active Directory Administration showing proficiency in managing user accounts and access control. Virtualization Technology with strong experience in VMware vSphere, ESXi, VMware Horizon. Network Services Administration involving DHCP, DNS, and direct customer support in an IT role. Demonstrated Experience in Troubleshooting showcasing the proven ability to troubleshoot complex information systems and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Flexibility in Work Hours with the requirement to work multiple shifts and support some weekend work.
