System Analyst Engineer, IT Customer Support Services, Day, Baptist Medical IT Data Center The Systems Analyst Engineer provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, integration, optimization, and support of enterprise healthcare information systems and infrastructure technologies across Baptist Health. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and Information Services (IS) teams to ensure stable, secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that support patient care, business operations, and strategic initiatives. The Systems Analyst Engineer serves as a key contributor for enterprise applications, infrastructure systems, integrations, automation initiatives, and cloud-based technologies. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex technical issues, analyzing workflows and system performance, supporting upgrades and implementations, participating in project initiatives, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. System Analyst Engineer you will be responsible for: Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure and implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline. Works to broaden own capabilities by continuing to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Performs a range of assignments using guidelines or policies. Analyzes and solves straightforward problems as they occur but typically requires guidance on complex or unusual problems. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction from more experienced team members. System Analyst Engineer Experience: Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, operating systems, and system integrations. Experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, Teams, and Azure environments preferred. Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, workflow analysis, and ticket management preferred. Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with hospital information systems strongly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
