Job Summary Summary Responsible for installations, administration and maintenance of assigned servers and/or systems. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and associated peripheral equipment. Maintain operating efficiency and stability, ensure the security and integrity of all systems and data, and respond to outages and other issues. Perform application administration activities such as creating, modifying, and deleting users, optimizing remote access, and security access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications. Monitor network performance to help determine whether adjustments are needed and where changes will be needed in the future. Test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Educates colleagues and end-users on process flows, workflows, and data flows. Provides user training for workflows Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience in IT working with systems 1-2 years required and Experience with systems/servers in a large networked environment 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient commitment to customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi task and prioritize work requirements. Knowledge of Network Operating System: Microsoft Windows Servers. Knowledge of Unix and Linux. Ability to analyze data.
