Job Details The Systems Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that clinical information is transmitted, transformed, and validated throughout the entire clinical application environment. This role has is responsible for maintaining clinical applications and servers that transmit and receive patient information between radiological modalities, lab instruments, and other various patient monitoring systems and the electronic medical record. This position performs high level application development through various scripting languages which provides internal support for custom needs within the organization. There is high demand for standard support and troubleshooting methodologies because this role participates in the after-hours standby program. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or in similar fields from an accredited institution is desired, with related experience in a healthcare setting given special consideration. Project management and system documentation experience and skills. HL7 (v2/3, CDA, FHIR) and DICOM (CDIP) Certifications, preferred. CompTIA Net+, Security+, and Microsoft certifications are considered an advantage. Four years of experience supporting healthcare information systems. Four years of experience with managing and/or supporting Windows-based enterprise class client/server applications and databases.
