Job Description
Systems Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: #72291 Pay Range: $85-96 - W2 hourly Duration: 3-6 months contract Active Secret Clearance required to start. Job Description Performs technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. This role will focus on verifying total system performance using high fidelity 6-DOF simulations. Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and post processing large datasets is desired. What You'll be doing -Prepared Detailed Verification plans for total system performance against system requirements using high fidelity simulations -Initiate and monitor the generation of large Monte Carlo data sets to support performance verification -Prepare post-run performance analysis; including identifying areas of performance deficiency and areas of unexplained changes Basic Required Qualifications -Minimum of interim clearance to start, final Secret preferred. Clearance required at time of submittal. -STEM Bachelor's degree with experience analyzing large data sets or statistics -8+ years experience with 6-DOF Simulation setup/output analysis -8+ years experience writing scripts/source code to process large amounts of data -8+ years experience with Technical Communication; reporting summaries of Monte Carlo perfo
