Location San Diego CA 92121 Duration: 2+ years Technical Skills Must Have 5G NR (3GPP Release 15), LTE FDD/TDD 5G NR (NSA/SA), LTE protocol stacks including PHY/ MAC/ RLC/ PDCP/ RRC/ NAS/ Upper layers 8-12 years of industry experience in the following areas required: Call scenario development (5G NR / LTE) for Keysight E7515B (UXM 5G) using PRT and / or Test App Programming skills in Python/ Matlab Test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, UE power analyzer Nice To Have Additional Skills In The Following Areas Are a Plus Experience in 802.11 ac /a/b/g/n standards and various WIFI/BT features Knowledge of Qualcomm QXDM, MTP provisioning and testing - Analysis tools such as Wireshark Prior exposure to patents and intellectual property (IP) analysis Job Description Top 5 Required Skills (These are not preferred skills. If the candidate does not have these required skills, they will be rejected completely) Prior work on projects with Apple (especially modem testing) during the time-period of 2019 until the present would not be desirable (constitutes a conflict of interest for our position) Required Education Required Years of Experience Eight years of exp in the field at least. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
