Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for Event Volunteers in the Tampa Bay/Lutz area for the "Lotus Gala", which be held Saturday, October.3, 2026, at Armature Works - Tampa - 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602 . This is an annual, signature fundraising event with proceeds providing non-medical financial support to cancer patients. Event Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026 Event Time: 6:00-10:00pm Event Location: Armature Works - Tampa 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa, FL 33602 VOLUNTEER ARRIVAL & TRAINING: Arrival time 5 pm Event training will be from 5 -5:40pm Volunteers in place by 5:45pm VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Upon arrival, volunteers will be assigned responsibilities for the evening. It is important to be flexible, as your roles may change throughout the evening! Ex: Greeting and directing guests; registration; selling raffle tickets; overseeing the silent auction area; VIP table drawing; live auction spotters; silent auction closing; distributing guest thank you gifts; and event breakdown! VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS: Attire will be black pants and shirt with close-toed shoes. NO alcohol during the event. Dinner will be provided during the event, and volunteers will be able to take breaks throughout the evening as needed in a designated room.
