Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Tanning Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of our salon. This role is hands-on and focused on maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and keeping the salon clean and organized. The position does not involve managing staff but is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Client Services & Front Desk Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner. Check in clients, process payments, and manage memberships/packages. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries. Salon Operations Ensure tanning equipment and facilities are properly cleaned and sanitized after each use. Perform light maintenance checks and promptly report issues with equipment. Oversee laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding towels. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming salon environment. Retail & Inventory Management Assist customers with product recommendations and process retail sales. Maintain and restock product displays. Track and report inventory levels and supply needs. Administrative Support Accurately record sales, memberships, and daily transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Provide operational support to ownership/upper management as needed. Qualifications Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or salon/spa environments preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Comfortable performing cleaning and light physical tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs.). Proficiency with basic computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software. Work Schedule & Environment Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. Fast-paced, client-facing environment requiring professionalism and adaptability. Combination of front desk duties, customer service, and light physical tasks.
