Taproom Bartender

Summary : We are looking for friendly and reliable taproom staff members at our brewery in Salem, MA to serve craft beer at the bar and assist with front of house duties Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter and maintain a friendly and inclusive atmosphere Take orders and serve a variety of beer styles Stay up-to-date on new beers and ingredients; be able to guide new customers through our beer menu Use our point-of-sale system to handle credit and cash transactions Check identification to ensure customers are of legal age (21+) Maintain taproom cleanliness Requirements : Must have weeknight and/or weekend availability Experience bartending or in the brewing industry strongly preferred TIPS certification or willingness to obtain it before starting work Age 21 or over Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 50+ lbs to move and change kegs Love of craft beer and brewing Excellent time management and communication skills Employment Type: Part-time, Regular and Seasonal available Compensation: $10/hr + pooled tips To apply, email your resume and availability to hello@couchdogbrewing.com Job Type: Part-time Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift: Day shift Evening shift Work Location: In person
