Summary At Warped Wing, the Taproom Utility Support role is the backbone of our front-of-house operations. This is a dynamic, physically active position that supports the entire taproom team by seamlessly transitioning between barbacking, food running, bussing, and hosting based on the needs of the shift. You will ensure smooth service, maintain cleanliness, and step in wherever necessary to deliver an exceptional guest experience during our highest volume hours. Duties and Responsibilities Anticipate the needs of the taproom by transitioning smoothly between support roles (barback, food runner, busser, and host) as volume dictates. Keep the bar, dining room, and patio areas clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times. Wash, restock, and rotate clean glassware consistently throughout the shift. Replace and organize kegs as needed, and keep ice bins, bar tools, and garnishes fully stocked for bartenders. Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring presentation standards are met. Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maximize seating turnover. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with seating, and help manage waitlists or direct flow during peak hours. Support bartenders, servers, and management in maintaining a seamless and efficient guest experience. Assist with general taproom cleaning, including restrooms, floors, and exterior areas. Help set up, restock, and break down for special events or large parties. Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and communicate restocking needs to management. Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards. Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure a successful shift. Requirements & Qualifications: Previous bar, restaurant, or brewery experience preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn multiple operational roles. Reliable transportation and punctuality required. Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Constantly: Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; communicating with others to exchange information; repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. Occasionally: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like; operating machinery and/or power tools; operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment; light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds; medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds; heavy work that includes lifting and maneuvering up to 150 pounds (kegs). Environmental Conditions Constantly: Noisy environments. Occasionally: Low temperatures; high temperatures; outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind; hazardous conditions; small and/or enclosed spaces. Never: Poor ventilation.
