Job Description:This individual is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining tarps used on flatbed trailers.This role includes patching tears, replacing damaged sections, reinforcing seams, cleaning tarps, and ensuring all repaired tarps meet safety and quality standards.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable performing physical labor in a shop or yard environment.Pay:Starts at $20 per hour, based on experience Schedule:Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities:Inspect flatbed tarps for rips, holes, worn areas, and hardware damage.Perform repairs using patching materials, sewing equipment, heat welders, adhesives, and hand tools.Replace damaged grommets, straps, buckles, and other tarp components.Reinforce seams, corners, and stress points to extend tarp lifespan.Clean tarps before and after repair to ensure proper adhesion and durability.Organize, fold, and store tarps after repair.Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all company safety procedures.Document repairs performed and report materials used.Assist with general shop labor as needed.Work Environment:Indoor shop setting with fabric materials, adhesives, and repair equipment.Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and manual labor.Benefits:Full Medical Insurance (Prescription, Vision & Dental) 401K with Company match Long-Term/Short-Term Disability Company Paid Basic Life & AD&D Insurance Supplemental Life Insurance (Available) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Job Requirements:Previous experience with tarp repair, sewing, fabric work, or general labor preferred but not required.Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work on large surfaces (floor or worktable).Familiarity with hand tools and basic repair techniques.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast paced environment.Wage Range:20.00 - 20.00 per hour General Description of Benefits:Full Medical Insurance (Prescription, Vision & Dental) 401K with Company match Long-Term/Short-Term Disability Company Paid Basic Life & AD&D Insurance Supplemental Life Insurance (Available) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays.
