This position is primarily responsible for tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments, and maintaining strong documentation that aligns with internal controls and external audit expectations. In addition to compliance duties, the Tax Accountant will assist with tax provision support, tax technology improvements, process optimization, audits, and various cross-functional projects, as needed. This position works closely with other accounting and business unit employees, internal departments, and external parties. Responsibilities - Assist in the preparation of annual property tax filings, sales/use tax, Canadian GST/QST, etc. Assist in maintaining Vertex (Customer records). Assist in the preparation of the US federal, state, and local income tax returns, including supporting workpapers and disclosures. Support income tax provision processes, including data gathering, variance analysis
