Tax Associate Position Overview The Tax Associate will play a crucial role in providing tax compliance and consulting services to high net worth individuals and partnerships. The ideal candidate will assist in tax planning and preparation, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, and will work closely with senior tax professionals to deliver high-quality service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for high net worth individuals and partnerships, including Form 1040 and Form 1065. Conduct tax research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations on complex tax matters. Support tax planning initiatives and strategies to optimize clients' tax positions. Collaborate with senior tax staff to review and analyze client financial information for tax compliance and planning purposes. Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely guidance to clients. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation or progress towards obtaining CPA is preferred. 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and planning. Experience working with high net worth individuals and partnerships is a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
