Job Description
Your Responsibilities Lockton’s Transaction Liability Practice is seeking a motivated Tax Insurance Analyst to support senior brokers and tax specialists in placing Tax Liability insurance on complex M&A transactions. This role is ideal for individuals who are analytical, organized, strong communicators — and who have a genuine interest in tax. Looking for 1–2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, tax, business analysis, consulting, or related fields Recent college graduates with strong academic performance and demonstrated discipline Candidates who can clearly demonstrate: Effective communication Organizational excellence Project management capability Analytical thinking Interest in tax concepts and tax related problem solving Key Responsibilities Support senior brokers and tax specialists on day to day deal tasks and long term strategic projects Assist in evaluating tax exposures within M&A transactions Manage a consistent pipeline of deal opportunities involving tax insurance Coordinate with insurers, tax attorneys, accountants, and clients throughout the underwriting process Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial and pipeline reports Conduct research on tax issues, market trends, and benchmarking data Contribute to ad hoc business development initiatives and internal projects Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Salesforce experience is helpful, but not a requirement Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Demonstrated analytical ability and comfort working with complex information Education BA/BS required Preferred majors: Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Coursework or internships involving tax are preferred
