Tax Manager

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager to joint heir Jericho, NY office. Responsibilities Direct the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns (e.g., 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065) Oversee tax compliance, planning, and strategy development for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps, trusts, and nonprofit organizations Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing technical guidance and review support Perform tax research and stay current on federal and state tax law changes and industry trends Collaborate with clients to address tax questions, provide proactive advisory services, and deliver expert guidance Analyze and respond to tax authority notices while supporting audit processes Handle routine client inquiries and coordinate the collection of required information Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and service delivery Requirements 5+ years of public accounting experience Tax compliance and preparation experience Strong technical knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and potentially trust and nonprofit taxation Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment Experience working with diverse client portfolios and industries, including high-net-worth individuals CPA required Job ID # 46427 Tagged as: In-Office
