Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager Generalist to join their Brightwaters, NY office. Responsibilities Oversee and review a diverse portfolio of tax engagements, including individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation returns Deliver year-round tax planning and advisory services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships Investigate and resolve complex federal, state, and local tax issues Supervise and mentor staff and senior accountants, including reviewing work and supporting development Collaborate with firm partners on workflow management, deadlines, and client needs Support IRS and state notices, audits, and examinations as needed Requirements 7+ years of public accounting tax experience Broad exposure across entity types Strong knowledge of federal and NYS tax regulations Experience working with closely held businesses and HNW individuals Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills CPA required Job ID # 47807 Tagged as: In-Office
