Responsibilities Safely operate a taxi vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly and courteously Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle to ensure passenger comfort and safety Use navigation tools and knowledge of local streets to optimize routes and reduce travel time Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance when needed and ensuring a positive experience Handle cash or electronic payments accurately, issuing receipts as required Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure ongoing safety and compliance Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, or in similar transportation roles such as paratransit or limousine driving is preferred Strong knowledge of local streets, traffic laws, and safety procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Physical ability to sit for extended periods, assist passengers if necessary, and perform routine vehicle inspections Prior experience in driving delivery services or commercial transportation is highly desirable Vehicle 2018 and newer.
