Extended School Year ServicesElementary Special Education TeacherTuesday July 7 - Thursday July 303 hour orientation on July 6 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday$45/hourGENERAL DUTIES: 1. To sustain IEP-related skills achieved during the 180-day school year pursuant to Rhode Island Department of Education criteria by continuing to implement school year instructional methodologies.REPORTS TO: Director of Student Services/Principal QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Rhode Island Certification in Special Education (Gr. K-8) preferred; or RI Certification in Elementary Education or Secondary English/Math with Middle School Endorsement.2.Knowledge of Grade Level/Span Expectations in areas of regression/recoupment intervention instruction.3.Prior experience with specified age group including students with disabilities in an integrated class setting.4.Evidence of using teaching strategies that will address the unique needs of each student.5.Demonstrated ability to perform the above general duties evidenced by course work and teaching experience.
