The MAC teacher designs and delivers scaffold instruction aligned to the Essential Elements, collaborates with related service providers and school teams, and creates a predictable, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic and social emotional growth, communication, independence and engagement. The MAC teacher monitors progress, implements evidence-based practices, maintains compliance with IEP requirements, and partners with families to support student success.
