Job Summary Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is actively recruiting licensed and experienced candidates for a Regular Education Itinerant - Home &; Hospital position. ; The Regular Education Itinerant - Home &; Hospital ; teacher provides instruction in a home or hospital setting for students with serious medical or psychological conditions that preclude them from physically attending in a school building even with alternative options. Home and Hospital teachers will provide instruction which is appropriate to their educational needs and developmental level. Qualifications Applicants must hold a current license from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in regular education in middle childhood/early adolescence or early adolescence/adolescence (Grades 6-12); a minimum of five (5) successful fully licensed years as an elementary, middle or high school teacher; reliable transportation with valid WI driver's license - travel to and from student homes/hospitals/schools occurs daily.
