Position Overview:Midwest Staffing is partnering with a reputable client in search for a Team Lead.The Team Lead plays a key role in managing day-to-day production operations.This position ensures that production goals are met while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.The Team Lead provides guidance and support to operators, promotes best practices, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts on the floor.Key Responsibilities:Oversee production schedules to ensure timely and accurate output.Monitor and support daily operations, identifying and addressing workflow issues.Lead start-of-shift meetings and communicate goals clearly to team members.Coordinate equipment changeovers and ensure proper sanitation standards are followed.Apply lean manufacturing principles and maintain 5S practices.Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure consistent performance.Complete and manage documentation, reports, and inventory transactions accurately.Assist with additional duties as needed to meet business needs.Qualifications:2-5 years of team leadership experience in a manufacturing setting or a four-year degree.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of production systems, software, and lean manufacturing tools.Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.Work Environment:Standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs.Fast-paced indoor production setting, occasionally warm with exposure to fragrances.Flexible schedule may include extended hours based on production demands.Don't wait, apply today.#IND2Midwest Staffing Group & KeyStaff Professionals prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, and any other characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and/or local laws.Job Types:Full-time, Contract Pay:$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
