Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Team Leader to oversee the Book Order Fulfillment Picker and Shipper team within our warehouse operations.In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping book orders to ensure timely delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards across the distribution center.This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the efficiency of our logistics operations.Duties Lead and motivate a team of pickers and shippers to achieve daily order fulfillment targets with precision and speed Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage practices using warehouse management systems Coordinate shipping and receiving activities Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize materials handling procedures Organization is a must in this department Monitor warehouse distribution activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to foster a high-performing work environment Requirements Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a logistics or e-commerce setting Strong knowledge of inventory control, materials handling, and warehouse distribution processes Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and promote a collaborative work environment Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shift hours Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations within a warehouse or distribution center is desirable Join us as a Team Leader for Book Order Fulfillment Picker and Shipper where your leadership will directly impact our customers' experience! Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Application Question(s):This is a set schedule:Saturday through Wednesday 7am to 3pm.Can you consistently work this schedule? We have a 90 day probationary period.To start we are looking at $18 an hour.Does this work for you? Attendance and punctuality is a must! Will this be an issue for you?
