Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Team Leader to oversee our Book Listing Department, focusing on grading and listing books with precision and efficiency.In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for evaluating book conditions, assigning accurate metadata, and ensuring all listings meet quality standards.Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a collaborative environment, and uphold the integrity of our extensive book catalog.This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the quality of our library database and support our mission to provide accessible, well-organized literary collections worldwide.Duties Lead and manage a team of book graders and catalogers to ensure accurate assessment of book conditions and metadata assignment Develop and implement standardized procedures for grading, cataloging, and listing books within our integrated system Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all records Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills in cataloging standards, research techniques, and customer service best practices Monitor workflow progress, set priorities, and manage project timelines to meet departmental goals efficiently Ensure compliance with organizational policies related to metadata standards, copyright regulations, and quality assurance protocols Experience Proven management experience leading teams in library sciences, cataloging, or book processing environments Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Effective leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and communicate clearly Strong writing skills for preparing reports, training materials, and documentation related to workflows and standards Join us as a vital leader in our Book Listing Department!
