In addition to your hourly wage, after training you will receive pooled tips along with cash tip distributions. This amounts to an additional average of $3 to $4 an hour. Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to ensure quick service times Support inventory management through proper food storage, rotation, and waste reduction practices Qualifications Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment within the food industry or retail settings such as grocery stores or cafés Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while developing your career in the food industry.
