Job Title:Tech Assistant- II Location:450 E.Romie Lane Salinas, CA, 93901 Duration:13 Weeks Contract (Possible Extension) Shift:M-F 8 Hrs Days (5x8) Facility:Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System Pay Package for 40 Hrs/Week:Weekly Gross:$1,680/wk Weekly Stipends:$1,000/wk (Non-Taxable) Hourly Taxable:$17/hr.on W2 Requirements:Minimum 3 years of recent scheduling experience in PT/CT, Angio, CT, US, MRI, and x-ray is required Current BLS from AHA.COVID Vaccination.Responsibilities Assist in the assembly and fabrication of mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate component fabrication.Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality standards.Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the facility.Support machining processes including soldering, welding, and fabricating components according to specifications.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve manufacturing processes.Pay:Up to $1,680.00 per week Experience:Hospital Scheduling:4 years (Required) License/Certification:BLS Certification (Required) Ability to Relocate:Salinas, CA 93901:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
