Major Goals: Own the customer relationship and be the trusted advisor for their technology strategy. Identify new ways to improve processes and continually elevate the customer’s experience. Perform strategic account reviews with clients on a regular basis and identify projects, products and services that will help them achieve their goals. Communicate effectively with current and potential clients. Understand technology and business issues relating to technology. Job Functions: The vCIO is a critical member of our Managed IT Services team - responsible for exemplifying our culture, managing current and potential clients, and assisting with their technological needs. The essential duties and responsibilities include: Interact with business owners and executives to develop a deep understanding of their business needs, goals, and objectives, translating these to develop an IT solution which satisfies the requirements. Manage projects for existing clients, e.g., workstation upgrades. Assist the Finance department with customer account audits. Maintain and develop current client base. Perform account reviews with clients on a regular basis. Provide timely response to customer requests. Conduct in-house and on-site presentations for clients. Create reports, proposals, and other documents to show the value of Managed Services. Translate technical information to features and benefits to customers. Analyze implications of business issues discovered in client meetings. Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of IT, compliance, security and other issues as well as the AIS product catalog. Create and maintain excellent client relationships. Attend Managed Services meetings and participate. Engage business owners and C-level buyers in conversations about their business strategies and recommend technology solutions to support those strategies. Stay abreast of emerging technology to meet client future needs. Serve as a key technology advisor for Managed Services clients. Develop client budget and technology roadmaps, revising as needs change. Provide additional insight to build value and creditability to proposed solutions. This may include: Walking clients through proposals relating technical solutions back to business needs so the client understands impact of solutions (including financial) upon their business success, and Explaining the technology behind the solution and prioritizing the deployment of the technology solutions. Educate and train clients on technical solutions delivered. Conduct quarterly client reviews to ensure continued satisfaction and additional selling opportuniti
