Job Description
Technical Advisor / Patent Agent (EE/CS/ME) One of the Nation's Top Law Firms All candidates must be registered with the USPTO. Technical Advisor/ Patent Agent Prestige Firm only looking for the best of the best. School Transcripts may be required for consideration Minimum Education 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree EE/CS/ME degree Minimum Years of Experience Two years of patent prosecution experience as well as three years of engineering and/or research experience. Registration with the USPTO Boston, MA, Palo Alto, CA, Seattle, WA or Philadelphia, PA Office Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate). Some travel required. The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $205,000 per year depending on the candidate's geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate's experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. Property and Technology Practice, Patent Development and Strategies for Palo Alto office The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Candidates who have litigation, opinions, licensing, patent due diligence, and/or trademark experience are preferred, but not required. Candidates must have a EE, CS, or ME degree. All candidates must be registered with the USPTO. Responsibilities Drafts patent applications. Drafts responses to USPTO office actions. Works closely with attorneys for patent preparation and prosecution. Drafts instructions to foreign patent agents in response to office actions.
