Technical Administrator (Engineering / Project Support) Company: PermianLide Location: Odessa, TX or Troy, TX Job Type: Full-Time Reports to: VP of Project Management About Us PermianLide manufactures API tanks, ASME vessels, and engineered skid systems for the energy and industrial sectors. Our success depends on strong coordination between engineering, estimating, and project execution teams. Position Overview We are hiring a Technical Administrator to support Engineering, Project Management, and Estimating functions. This is not a traditional administrative role—it requires someone who can understand technical documentation, manage project data, and ensure accuracy across systems and deliverables. This role is also designed as a development path into a Junior Project Manager position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Maintain and control project documentation (drawings, BOMs, vendor data) Support RFQ tracking and estimating workflows Organize and manage project files across systems Ensure documentation accuracy and accessibility throughout project lifecycle Assist Engineering and PM teams with coordination tasks Track and update internal systems (PLEX, Estimate Log, HubSpot, etc.) Support reporting and project tracking initiatives Qualifications 2–6 years of experience in administrative, technical, or manufacturing support role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to learn technical products and processes Experience with document control or engineering environments preferred Proficiency in Excel and business systems Exposure to fabrication, oil & gas, or industrial manufacturing is a plus What We’re Looking For Detail-oriented and process-driven Comfortable working across multiple teams (Engineering, PM, Estimating) Coachable and eager to grow into more technical/project-based roles Strong accountability and follow-through Career Path Opportunity This role offers a clear path to transition into a Junior Project Manager position as you gain experience and develop technical and project management skills.
