Job Description
Title: Senior Technical Product Manager - Product Software (Fleet Orchestration) Client: Autonomous Vehicle/Tech Job Location: Foster City, CA Duration: 6 Months + Rate: $90 - $95/HR W2 (Commensurate with experience) Summary: Our client is building autonomous mobility from the ground up. Fleet Orchestration is an integral part of delivering high customer service levels and fleet efficiency. This is an exciting time for our client as they expand their live service and fleet of robots to new customers and geographies. In order to do this efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service we require a robust fleet orchestration system that governs both customer rides and non-customer vehicle trips. This product manager will be responsible for prioritizing and delivering the roadmap priorities that allow us to hit their key service and efficiency metrics. As a Product Manager for Fleet Orchestration you will: Help define the systems that ensure our robots are in the right place at the right time Steward a software product line, curate its roadmap Work closely with Engineering, Science, Technical Program Managers, and front-end Product Managers to refine and prioritize features and requirements Define, implement, and monitor metrics and measure the health and performance of these systems To be successful, you should have: 6–9 years of product management experience 2+ years of product manager for complex backend software Experience driving collaboration, alignment, and affecting outcomes with influence instead of authority Direct experience with product lifecycle management A technical background, you can learn and understand software development, and concepts such as back-end systems, web apps APIs, and technical tradeoffs Bonus: You have stewarded products through its lifecycle in a relevant space (rideshare, supply chain, or inventory management) You have experience in product management for science teams (e.g. operations research) You have experience developing and executing long-term plans (1–3 years) in ambiguous spaces You know how to thrive in a growing, complex organization You know how to deconstruct complex ideas and concepts
