Technical Sales Designer – Luxury Outdoor Pergola Systems Melaaura / Niche Beverly – Los Angeles, CA Melaaura and Niche Beverly are premier luxury indoor and outdoor furniture showrooms specializing in high-end residential and hospitality projects throughout California. We represent exclusive European brands and custom outdoor living solutions including pergolas, louvers, shade systems, teak, rattan, aluminum, lava stone, and architectural outdoor products. We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Technical Sales Designer with experience in architectural drafting, pergola systems, and luxury project coordination. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and client-facing skills. Responsibilities Create professional shop drawings and technical drawings for pergola and outdoor architectural systems Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for: Pergolas Louvers Shade systems Footing details Lighting and electrical integration Drainage solutions Mounting conditions Read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, and construction documents Coordinate directly with architects, designers, contractors, and clients Support the sales team with technical presentations and project development Conduct site measurements when required Communicate with European factories and suppliers regarding technical specifications Assist installation teams with technical clarification and updates Manage revisions, drawing updates, and project documentation efficiently Work on luxury residential and hospitality projects throughout California Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in: Pergola systems Outdoor architectural systems Shop drawings Architectural drafting Strong AutoCAD experience (required) Ability to read and understand architectural and construction plans Understanding of outdoor construction details and installation methods Strong communication and client coordination skills Organized, detail-oriented, and professional Experience working with architects, designers, and contractors preferred Experience with Renson, Pratic, or similar luxury pergola systems is highly preferred SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit experience is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience in luxury residential or hospitality projects Knowledge of lighting integration and motorized systems Familiarity with high-end European outdoor brands Understanding of permitting and technical coordination Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Commission and performance bonus opportunities Growth opportunities within a luxury design company Opportunity to work on high-end custom residential and hospitality projects About Us Melaaura and Niche Beverly are luxury furniture and outdoor living destinations based in Los Angeles, specializing in curated European collections and custom solutions for designers, architects, and luxury clientele.
