Job Description
Our client, a growing organization in the industrial and technical solutions space, has partnered with Sergeant Talent Partners to identify a Technical Sales Engineer (Developmental Program) to join their team. This role is designed as a structured development program that blends technical training with sales exposure, preparing individuals to support customers, drive business growth, and become well-rounded technical sales professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, communication skills, and a desire to grow into a customer-facing role. Key Responsibilities: Participate in a structured training program covering products, systems, and customer applications Support senior sales engineers with customer visits, proposals, and technical presentations Develop an understanding of customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions Assist with quoting, project support, and follow-ups Build relationships with internal teams and external customers Transition into a full-cycle technical sales role over time Qualifications: Background in engineering, technical, or industrial fields (prior military service required) Strong communication skills with an interest in sales Ability to learn complex technical products and translate them to customers Self-starter with a growth mindset and willingness to travel as needed 📍 Location: This position can be based in Missouri or fully remote , depending on the candidate’s preference and experience.
