Technical Pre-Sales Specialist OverviewWe're looking for a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist to support our Electric System Design business.In this role, you'll help drive revenue by translating customer needs into well-defined technical solutions and guiding projects from initial inquiry through delivery.You'll work closely with clients, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure every solution is accurate, competitive, and aligned with market expectations.Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to grow the Electric System Design portfolio within your assigned market.Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities through site visits, trade shows, and industry networking.Assess customer requirements and prepare accurate, customized proposals.Perform application-specific calculations and determine technical specifications, collaborating with engineering experts to validate solution designs.Prepare and present technical quotations, ensuring pricing reflects internal cost analysis and current market conditions.Manage projects from start to finish, maintaining consistent communication with customers and monitoring progress to meet deadlines.Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive developments, sharing insights internally to support service improvement and commercialization.Requirements Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical pre-sales, applications, or systems-focused role.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain system design concepts.Solid commercial awareness and experience working directly with customers.Proven project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects.Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a hands-on environment.INDENG KEYWORDS:Engineering Sales, Sales Engineer, Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Technical Sales, Business Development, Electronic Sales, Sales Development, Technical Sales, Sales Manager, Account Executive, Sales Executive, Inside Sales, Outside Sales Job Type:Full-time Pay:$80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work from home Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred) Work Location:Hybrid remote in Camp Hill, PA 17011.
