Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Technician to ensure parts meet all quality and production standards in our powder metal manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting operators, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Shift: 2 nd Schedule: M-F 2:30pm-11:00pm Pay Rate: $27/hr Location: Geneva, IL . Perks & Benefits: Medical / Dental Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off. Shifts: 2nd Shift. Employment Types: Direct Hire, Full Time. Pay Rate: $27.00 / hour Duties Approve set-ups for new jobs and job changes. Inspect and document part quality (density, length, weight, run-out depth, and visual defects). Perform scheduled checks, weighing, sorting, and magnaflux/process inspections. Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and support resolution. Audit operators throughout the plant for process adherence. Maintain accurate records for material certifications. Order supplies and perform basic preventative maintenance. Safely use testing equipment, chemicals, and material-handling tools. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Support and uphold the BN Quality Policy. Perform other duties as assigned. . Position Requirements Working knowledge of SPC Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
