Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Telecommunication Specialist to manage, maintain, and support the organization’s communication systems and infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable voice, data, and network connectivity while troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of telecommunications systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems (VoIP, PBX, routers, switches, etc.) Monitor network and communication systems to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, and service issues Coordinate with vendors and service providers for installations and repairs Maintain system documentation, configurations, and inventory records Ensure compliance with company security and data protection policies Provide technical support and guidance to internal users Assist with upgrades, system expansions, and infrastructure improvements Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, or related field (preferred) Proven experience in telecommunications, networking, or technical support Knowledge of VoIP systems, LAN/WAN networks, and communication protocols Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Skills Experience with cloud-based communication platforms Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices Industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco, or similar) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Professional development and training opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for advancement
